How often can you say you won a scholarship powered by the sun?

With Bullfrog's support, Transition Salt Spring installed an 84-panel solar system on the roof of Gulf Island Secondary School (GISS) in 2014. The energy cost savings from the project fund an annual scholarship for students pursuing sustainable trades or studies.

GISS grad Maia Beauvais (pictured) was recently announced as the first recipient of this scholarship. Congrats, Maia!

Sustainable Development Technology Canada

This Bullfrog partner helps bring new cleantech to market

It's not easy to bring renewable technology from concept to final product. Luckily, Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC) supports innovative Canadian cleantech projects—such as automotive fuel cell and low-emissions transportation technology—and helps move them to market. SDTC, which is a partner of Bullfrog, aims to provide economic, environmental and health benefits for Canadians.
