  December 2016

2016 was a crazy year, wasn't it?

But we—YOU—have so much to be proud of.

Thank you for helping bring so many renewable projects online this year. Pictured above are just a few you've helped bring to life.

Your support brought the Kanaka Bar Indian Band in B.C. one step closer to energy independence with a new solar project. Canada's first ever solar park in Vulcan, Alberta became a reality, thanks in part to you. As well, Ontario's first ever co-op owned wind farm—in Oxford County—was launched this year. Our community was there with them, financially supporting them from the beginning.

And, as of December 31, 2016, our community has achieved some pretty big numbers together:

  • 1,338,000 tonnes of CO2 displaced from the environment
  • 3,875,000 MWh of green electricity on the grid
  • 6,615,000 GJ of green natural gas on the pipepline
  • 700,000 litres of green fuel on the Canadian fuel pool

These numbers would not be what they are now—without you.

But our work isn't over yet. As Canada celebrates its 150th anniversary next year, we have lots of new, exciting projects and green energy to support.

From all of us here at Bullfrog, thank you for taking a stand for renewable energy during a time when the environment could really use your leadership.

Happy holidays and all the best in 2017!
