Bullfrog is partnering with Iron & Earth, a group of oil sands workers championing a shift to renewable energy. The group's Atlantic chapter successfully crowdfunded a solar greenhouse that will be built in St. John's to help demonstrate renewable energy—and is also planning to re-train out-of-work oil sands workers in renewable technologies.


Clean Energy Canada explains electrification

Calgary partnerships cultivate community orchards

Thanks to the Community Orchards program started by bullfrogpowered REAP and non-profit Enactus Calgary, more than 400 donated fruit trees have been planted in Calgary this year. The trees absorb carbon dioxide in the air, and their fruit are harvested for low-income Calgarians in need. Learn more about the program here.

Bullfrog is partnering with Elevation Pictures for the film, Deepwater Horizon, to bullfrogpower eight advance screenings of the film across Canada on Wednesday, September 28 (in theatres September 30).

From the director of Lone Survivor, Deepwater Horizon, starring Mark Wahlberg, Kurt Russell and Kate Hudson, recounts the efforts of the men and women who battled the oil spill that would become one of the world’s largest man-made disasters.

Staples superpowers 10 schools with green technology

Congratulations to the 10 winning schools of this year's Staples Superpower Your School contest! Torontonians sail in for films on the lake

From August 18 to 20, the annual Sail-in Cinema hosted Toronto’s largest outdoor movie theatre: a two-sided screen set atop a barge in Toronto Harbour. Moviegoers from both deck and shore watched Hook, Jumanji and The Princess Bride over the weekend, courtesy of bullfrogpowered PortsToronto.
